The Sacred Labyrinth

A centre for meditation and deep reconnection.

Along a one-kilometre unicursal path under open sky, the walk invites self-knowledge and grounding in the midst of Brazilian nature.

A one-kilometre spiral path under open sky, in the middle of the cerrado. It is not a labyrinth you get lost in: it is unicursal — a single path, with no dead ends and no wrong turns. You walk in to the centre, and back out the same way.

One path only

With no decisions to make, the mind lets go of the map and only the walking is left. That is why it works as meditation for people who have never meditated sitting down.

Crystals along the way

Placed at points along the path by the people who built the labyrinth.

For groups

The full experience includes a guided introduction, meditation, a ceremonial fire, meals and live music — made for retreats and gatherings.

Silence

The place is isolated by nature, with no built sound barriers: what you hear is the cerrado.

The design is inspired by the sacred geometry of Chartres cathedral, in France, from the 13th century.
